Charlie Hampton joined New Pictures as an Executive Producer in 2017. At New Pictures Charlie has executive produced two seasons of THE SPANISH PRINCESS for Starz and THE DECEIVED for Channel 5 and Virgin Media Ireland. Charlie is currently Executive Producing PROTECTION for ITV and is also developing projects for all markets.
Charlie's previous role was Commissioning Editor, Drama at ITV. At ITV Charlie was the network exec on shows including HARLOTS (ITV Encore/Hulu), THE DURRELLS, THE HALCYON, HOME FIRES, GRANTCHESTER, MR SELFRIDGE, PREY and BAFTA-winning THE LOST HONOUR OF CHRISTOPHER JEFFERIES. Before joining ITV, Charlie worked as a Script Executive on INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY and as Series Producer on WILD AT HEART. Charlie’s other credits include script editing on series including SHAMELESS and EASTENDERS.
